Pentecost
There are many different images used to describe the gift of the Holy Spirit which we celebrate on the feast of Pentecost. The first, and most common, is breath or wind, which are the two basic forms of the spirit in the Bible.

At 7pm on May 7th, the 46th Commencement Exercises took place at the St. Vincent Chapel on the Seminary Campus. Rev. Msgr. Pablo A. Navarro, Rector Emeritus of the seminary and Pastor of St. John Neumann Catholic

Church, Miami, gave the commencement speech to the thirteen graduates while friends and family looked on with warm hearts and sincere pride. |

The faculty of St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL has presented Msgr. Keith R. Brennan, Rector and President its’ first Pastores Dabo Vobis Award (I Will Give You Shepherds) in recognition for his Christian leadership, stewardship, and loyalty to the mission of the seminary to prepare priests for the 21st century.

The presentation was made by Dr. Sixto Garcia, a well-respected and long-time professor of Systematic Theology at the annual Deacon Toast Dinner honoring those men who will be graduating and becoming priests throughout the region over the next two months. |
