Jane Guenther is Director of the Catholic Renewal Center for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. She has a degree in Architecture Education and acquired her Master in Divinity in 2005. She is a spiritual director, teacher, and served on the International and National Service Committee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. She is currently serving on the Advisory Council for the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops Eucharistic Revival. She is also a Director on the Seminary Formation Council serving seminary formators across the country.

This workshop will cover lots of the varying dimensions of spiritual occurrences that are encountered in ministry.  Spiritual phenomenon that we are met with in the everyday happenings with parishioners, with spiritual directee’s and also we will explore navigating the spiritual warfare that accompanies the call to a life in ministry.

Fr. Kevin Walsh, pastor of Precious Blood Church in Culpeper, VA, will return again this year as our Priest Winter Institute presenter. As a way to help priests prepare to preach on the Gospel of Matthew throughout the Sundays in 2026, Fr. Walsh will share his extensive knowledge and understanding of Matthew’s writings, offering fresh insights to be shared with parishioners. 

Fr. Llane B. Briese, STD, a brilliant scripture scholar and a popular professor here at SVDP, will delve into the writings of St. Paul. 

In response to recent calls to missionary discipleship, we shall look to the Church's most prolific missionary disciple, St. Paul, on his three missionary journeys especially as reflected in his earliest letters. We shall especially look at the Pauline texts read as second readings in Year A.
